MONIQUE DEHANEY
FEEL LIKE MAKING LOVE
(Reggae Cover version Produce by Courtney Panton)
Directed, Shot & Edited by Sonny_B
Lighting Assistant: Yo-Hey
Location: Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan
Commentary:
Over a drink in Ebisu, Monique let me hear a preview of her upcoming cover for “Feel Like Making Love”. I instantly envisioned her at an amazing beach location excited for her love to arrive. (a bit reminiscent of Evelyn Champagn’s “Love come down” music video)
After some talks and drafting, we then shot the video in early summer 2013.
INTERESTING FACT: During the filming of the video we were interrupted by the Odaiba security numerous times, so the shoot was cut short.
It was a please to work with Monique on this project!
I recently was able to meet London Rapper, HANZO REIZA in Tokyo. He came to visit Tokyo for a entire month. During his stay he did many things including film his first music video, MANGA, with me!
The video releases in a few hours! stay tuned!!
I was given the opportunity to work with the R&B connection, a unit of solo R&B singers in Japan. It was a great honor.

I’m excited to introduce you to the extremely talented, great spirited, Monqiue Dehaney. Over the past couple weeks we have been working together on various video projects. Monique, originally from Jamaica, has been living in Japan for the past 6 years or so. Enjoying the adventure, she has been building her sharing her music and naturally given vocals with the talents of Japan. I am pleased to be working with her. Check out some of the recent works I’ve done for her.
Coming from a Caribbean music background, Monique is very musically inclined. In fact recently she has found her new love for Jazz music! I think she does it pretty well! Check out the videos below!

In Japan, Horse meat Sushi, known as basashi, its quite popular among the people. Coming from a American background, I actually couldn’t immediately jump at the idea of eating horse meat. In the past, I’ve traveled to other places in the United States to eat deer, snake, etc, but I never really thought about eating horse. I think it’s because horses have a human trait to them, similar to dogs or cats, since they have been a important part of human life and progress. With all that being said, I was still excited but hesitant to eat horse. Check out the video!
